March is National Nutrition Month, which I think is the perfect time to reflect on your diet and lifestyle and check in with those New Year's Resolutions (if you made them!) The American Dietetic Association creates a theme for NNM each year, with this year's being "Eat Right with Color". It has long been advised for people to consume foods from a wide variety of color groups for optimal health. Eating the "rainbow" will ensure you incorporate the full spectrum of vitamins, minerals and nutrients into your diet. Back in November, I wrote an entry listing healthy foods by color (see it here! ).
