Thankful Thursday

It's Thursday. It's a beautiful 80-something degrees and sunny outside.  I've been stuck inside my apartment all day waiting for a maintenance guy, who since he finally arrived has been drilling and banging and creating HUGE holes in my wall. I'm not feeling so thankful for this.  


However, I AM thankful...

...that I am officially a graduate of the DI! Woo!

Class of 2012! :)

...for my amazing friends who got married this past weekend! And for everyone who made it a blast despite Tropical Storm Debby trying to bring us down!

so perfect.

...for clean sheets. Tell me you don't feel fantastic when you have fresh new digs on the bed?! 

...that Channing Tatum & Matthew McConaughey have taken on the intense roles of male strippers. I, for one am going to check out this sure-to-be Oscar worthy picture! 


...for long summer days.  How can you not love the sunlight until 8:30 or 9pm?

Thankful Thursday: It's a Heat Wave!

Happy super hot Thursday everyone! If you're anywhere in the Northeast, I know you're melting and miserable, but let's just try to perk up and be thankful!

Today I'm thankful...

...that we have one AC in place for this heat wave.  I bet Rocky is more thankful for this than I am, but we won't know because he STILL hasn't figured out how to talk. Dumb dog.

...that tomorrow is GRADUATION DAY from my DI! The official end!

....that after graduation I'll be hopping on a plane to Florida for an amazing wedding weekend! Congrats to Hail & Gav! Can't wait to be a part of their special day! 

....that I finally know who killed Rosie Larsen.  

....for the Beach Boys. "Little Deuce Coupe"? Admit it, you love it. Me too. 

...for late night lobster dinners!

An Especially Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday! I woke up nice and early before my alarm went off, because I was just so excited for today to start (and end)!  It's a beautiful sunshine-y day, so let's all be thankful!

Today I'm thankful...

...that today is the official END of my dietetic internship.  It seemed this day would never come, but it's here and I am SO thankful!

...for being hooked up with Yankees/Mets tickets on Saturday.

...that I live so dang close to Astoria Park.  It's beautiful and is great for tanning, running, people-watching, etc. Come visit.

...for sparkles! I picked up 2 new Sparkly Soul headbands this week and couldn't be more excited! If you haven't heard of Sparkly Soul or don't own one yet--what are you waiting for? They really are non-slip, don't give you a headache and are so stinkin cute.

...for my dad. In case you didn't know, Father's Day is this Sunday June 17th.  Although I doubt your dad is as awesome as mine, you should still be thankful for him.
